Itinerary
Day 1: SHANGHAI (D)

Welcome to Shanghai. After your arrival you will be transferred to your hotel (check-in after 1500 hrs). Shanghai, is China’s largest city and a global financial hub. Its heart is the Bund, a famed waterfront promenade lined with colonial-era buildings. Across the Huangpu River rises the Pudong district’s futuristic skyline, including the 632m. Shanghai Tower and the Oriental Pearl TV Tower. Overnight in Shanghai.

Day 2: SHANGHAI (B, PL, D)

Today you will be taken on a guided city tour of Shanghai with photo stops at the Oriental Pearl TV Tower with its distinctive pink spheres and at the Yu Yuan Garden, a traditional Chinese park with beautiful pavilions, miniature lakes and bridges. You will visit the famous Jade Buddha Temple, which was built in 1882. This temple has two Jade statues of the Sakyamuni Buddha and houses various ancient sculptures, rare paintings and Buddhist scriptures. In the evening prepare to be spellbound by witnessing the Acrobatic show, showcasing the traditional martial art. Overnight in Shanghai.

Day 3: SHANGHAI – XI’AN (B, PL, D)

This morning you take a flight to Xian.On arrival in Xian, there is a stop for a photo opportunity of the City Wall of Xi’an, built during the Tang dynasty. You are also driven past the Big Wild Goose Pagoda (also called Giant Wild Goose Pagoda).As the symbol of the old-line Xian, this Pagoda is a well-preserved ancient building and a holy place for Buddhists. Overnight in Xi’an.

Day 4: XI’AN (B, L, D)

Today begins with a tour of Xi’an. Visit the Terracotta Warriors, a collection of over 6000 terracotta moulded soldiers, officers, horses and wagons depicting the army of Qin Shi Huang, the first Emperor of China. The Terracotta Army was constructed beside the tomb of China’s First Emperor as an afterlife guard for the Emperor. Overnight in Xi’an.

Day 5: XI’AN – BEIJING (B, PL, D)

Today you board your bullet train ,one of the best ways to travel to Beijing, the capital of the People’s Republic of China and the world’s second most populous city. On arrival we check-in to your hotel (after 1500 hrs). Overnight in Beijing.

Day 6: BEIJING (B, PL, D)

Today you are taken on a tour of the Great Wall of China at the Badaling section, Badaling is the only place on the Great Wall that you can take a cable car which offers you a panoramic view of this majestic structure. This 3,946-mile wall is a symbol of China’s ancient civilization and ranks among the greatest monuments in history. In the afternoon, your tour continues to the Summer Palace and its immense gardens, where the imperial court resided during summer. Overnight in Beijing.

Day 7: BEIJING (B, PL, D)

Today you go on a guided city tour of Beijing. The first stop is at the Temple of Heaven – the temple where emperors of the Ming and Qing dynasties came to worship the God of Heaven and pray for good harvests. Later we also experience the Taichi, it lets you practice tai chi in the grand surroundings of the Temple of Heaven. You will also see Tiananmen Square, the largest square in the world and you will then visit the Forbidden City, an awesome 250-acre complex of palaces, pavilions and gardens. Later there is a stop for a photo opportunity at the ‘Olympic Park’ – the symbolic stadium where the 2008 Olympics were held. Overnight in Beijing.

Day 8: BEIJING (B, D)

Today the day is free and easy for you to explore this city on your own. Overnight in Beijing.

Day 9: BEIJING – KANSAI/HANEDA, OSAKA, JAPAN (B, D)

In the morning we depart to the airport for our flight to Japan. On arrival at the Kansai/Haneda Airport, you will be transferred to your hotel (Check-in time is after 3.00 pm). The rest of the evening is free to enjoy the mega metropolis of Osaka on your own. Overnight in Osaka.

Day 10: KYOTO & NARA (B, L, D)

Today in the morning we proceed to the Deer park. The park is home to hundreds of freely roaming deer. Considered messengers of the gods in Shinto, Nara’s deer have become a symbol of the city and have even been designated a National Treasure. Later we visit the Todaiji Temple in Nara. The best-known relic at Todaiji Temple is its Daibutsu, a colossal statue of the world’s largest gilded bronze Buddha. We get a photo stop at the Kyoto Imperial Palace which is the former ruling palace of the Emperor of Japan. Later we visit the Kinkauji Temple, Kinkaku-ji. The heart of the temple complex is the Golden Pavilion (kinka-ku), situated picturesquely in its garden at the edge of a lake. We also get an opportunity to experience the culture of Japan with the Tea Ceremony, get an opportunity to see how tea is made in Japan and also a chance to taste the same in their traditional way. Overnight in Osaka.

Day 11: OSAKA – HIROSHIMA (B, L, D)

Today, we check out of the hotel and see the famous Osaka Castle. Osaka Castle was rebuilt by Tokugawa Hidetada in the 1620s, but its main castle tower was struck by lightening in 1665 and burnt down. Once we arrive in Hiroshima we see the Hiroshima Peace Memorial & the Atomic Bomb Dome (Genbaku Dome) which is a part of the Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park and was designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1996. The ruin serves as a memorial to the people who were killed in the atomic bombing of Hiroshima on August 6, 1945 was the only structure left standing in the area where the first atomic bomb exploded.We also visit the Atomic Dome Museum. Overnight in Hiroshima.

Day 12: HIROSHIMA – NUMAZU (B, L, D)

Today, we check out of the hotel and visit the Miyajima Island and visit the Itsukushima Shrine.The centuries-old Itsukushima Shrine on Miyajima is the source of both the island’s fame and its name. The shrine is known worldwide for its iconic “floating” torii gate. Later we drive to the train station to board Shinkansen – The Bullet train. Experience a thrilling ride on the Bullet Train, the fastest train in the world. Overnight in Numazu/Shizouka.

Day 13: NUMAZU – TOKYO (B, L, D)

Today, we check out of the hotel and proceed to the Hakone National Park and take a cruise on Lake Ashi, enjoy the enchanting cruise as well as the picturesque and unforgettable surroundings of Lake Ashi. Later we board the Owakudani Ropeway, The Ropeway journey which nestles on the shore of Lake Ashi, allows visitors to take in such spectacular views as the crystal-clear blue waters of Lake Ashi, the rising volcanic fumes of Owakudani and the grandeur of Mount Fuji. See Mt. Fuji towering to a height of 3,776 metres. It is the tallest mountain of Japan and its most distinguishing physical landmark. We take you on an exciting excursion to the 3rd station of Mt. Fuji (subject to weather conditions). Overnight in Tokyo.

Day 14: TOKYO (B, L, D)

Today, we proceed on a guided city tour of Tokyo. Get an opportunity to enjoy the Kimono Experience by actually wearing a Kimono “Traditional Japanese Dress”. We later proceed for a visit of the Tokyo Sky Tree, the Tokyo Skytee is a television broadcasting tower and landmark of Tokyo. With a height of 634 meters, it is the tallest structure in Japan and the second tallest in the world at the time of its completion. We later visit the Toyota Mega Web in Odaiba, Toyota’s proclaimed car theme Park, Toyota Mega Web comprises of six exhibits such as the History Garage, Universal Design Showcase, Toyota City Showcase, Ride One and the Kids Hybrid Ride One. Overnight at in Tokyo.

Day 15: RETURN HOME (B)

Today you are driven to the airport for your flight back home. We hope you take back many happy memories of your holiday. We would like you to write and tell us how you enjoyed yourself and give us your suggestions.
