10 Day European SplendorsThis 10-day tour lives up to its name by showcasing by showcasing the true Splendors Europe has to offer. Start off the tour in Rome which is renowned to once be home to the great Roman Empire. After the first day participants will then head to Florence where they will visit the St. Peter’s Basilica and participate in a guided tour of Rome. Participants will then venture onto the great merchant republic of Venice and visit Piazelle Michelangelo. Participants will also be provided a scenic tour of Venice and visit the Murano Glass Showroom. Participants will then press forward onto Innsbruck where they will visit Swarovski Cyrstal World where they can shop for the world famous Swarovski Crystals. The next day participants will then travel to Switzerland where they will visit the Drubba in the black Forest and take in Rhine Falls in Schaffhausen. There will be a free day in Switzerland where participants will be able to indulge in an optional excursion to Jungfraujoch and Interlaken. The following day participants can then visit Mount Titlis and Lucerne where they will participate in an orientation tour. The next day participants will spend the final 3 days of the excursion in Paris where they will participate in several excursions including a cruise on the River Seine, an illumination tour, a guided city tour, a visit to the Eiffel Tower and a visit to Disneyland. Day 1

Arrive in Rome
Begin your ‘European Splendor’ Tour Welcome to Rome – the capital of Italy. On arrival check into your hotel on your own any time after 1500 hrs.

Day 2

Onto Florence
Visit St. Peter’s Basilica
Guided City Tour of Rome
Orientation Tour of Pisa
After a continental breakfast, we check-out and take you to the world-renowned St. Peter’s Basilica, the world’s largest Cathedral, which will amaze you with its size, beauty, and splendor. Later on, your guided city tour of Rome see Piazza Venezia, see the colossal Victor Emmanuel II Monument, built to commemorate the 50th anniversary of Italian reunification. Relive the thrills of historic Rome as you view the ancient Roman & Imperial Forums. See the gigantic Colosseum – a symbol of Rome. It is said that when the Colosseum falls, Rome will fall and the world will follow. We, then drive to Pisa. On arrival, we visit the “Field of Miracles”, wherein stands the grand Romanesque Pisan style marble Cathedral. See the Baptistery and the bell tower, known throughout the world as the Leaning Tower of Pisa. Remember to take a photograph of your family against this wonder of the world. Next, we drive to Florence.

Day 3

Onto Venice
Visit Piazzale Michelangelo
Orientation Tour of Venice
Visit the Murano Glass Showroom
After a continental breakfast, we check-out and visit Piazzale Michelangelo for a photo-stop, from where you will have a bird’s eye view of Florence. Next, we continue our journey to Venice. On arrival, we board our boat from Tronchetto to St.Mark’s Square. Venice, the romantic Italian city, known for its unique architecture is an archipelago of 118 islands, 170 canals & 400 bridges. Here, see the historic Ducal Palace, the infamous prison, the Bridge of Sighs, the exquisite Clock Tower and the splendor of St. Mark’s Basilica. Visit the Murano Glass factory where a master craftsman will demonstrate the art of creating the famous Venetian blown glass. Do not miss this opportunity to buy souvenirs at discounted prices. We return to St. Mark’s Square, the most photographed Square in the world and soak in the unique atmosphere of this charming city. Later, we return to Tronchetto by boat.

Day 4

On to Innsbruck
Visit Swarovski Crystal World
Orientation Tour of Innsbruck
After a continental breakfast, we check-out and drive to and board our coach and drive towards Austria and proceed to Wattens to visit the amazing Swarovski Crystal World. Here you have an opportunity to shop for the famous Swarovski Crystals. We then continue our journey towards Innsbruck. On arrival, we take you on an orientation tour. See the ‘Goldenes Dachl’ – the Golden roof, an ornate Gothic balcony and a symbol of the city. Also see the Heiblinghaus, a building resembling a wedding cake.

Day 5

Onto Switzerland
Visit Drubba in the Black Forest
See Rhine Falls at Schaffhausen
After a continental breakfast, we check out and drive to Switzerland through the famous Black Forest region of Germany. We stop at the Drubba Centre in the heart of the forest. Here you have an opportunity to buy Cuckoo clocks & other souvenirs. We, now journey to Switzerland. At Schaffhausen, see the mighty Rhine Falls, Europe’s most powerful waterfalls. You have free time to admire the thundering beauty of the falls. Later, we drive to our hotel.

Day 6

Day Free
Suggested Excursion: Visit Jungfraujoch and
Interlaken
After a continental breakfast, the day is free OR we suggest a visit to Jungfraujoch and picturesque Interlaken. We begin with a scenic drive to Lauterbrunnen, from where we board a train to Jungfraujoch the highest-altitude railway station in Europe at 11,333 ft. takes us along lovely lakes and mountain passes. Marvel at the changes in alpine scenery as your charming cogwheel train takes you on a unique journey to Jungfraujoch, the very Top of Europe. On top of Jungfraujoch, you have free time to explore the modern complex. Experience the magic of the mountains at the Sphinx Terrace. See the breathtaking Jungfrau Peak and the awesome Aletsch Glacier. Also, visit the Ice Palace, where you see a beautiful display of sculptures made of ice while being encased in ice yourself. Send a postcard to your friends and relatives from Europe’s highest altitude Post office with its own special postmark. Thereafter we proceed to Interlaken, one of Switzerland’s best-known health and pleasure resorts.

Day 7

Visit Mount Titlis with Cliff Walk and Lucerne
After a continental breakfast, we proceed to Mt. Titlis and Lucerne. We begin the tour with a visit to Mt. Titlis, which at 10,000 ft is the highest peak in central Switzerland. The last leg of the ascent will be in the world’s first rotating cable car called the ‘Titlis Rotair’. At the Terrace on top of the Mt. Titlis summit station, weather permitting, you could take a walk over ‘Titlis Cliff Walk’ which is the highest suspension bridge in Europe – at a stomach-turning 9,800 ft (3,000m) above sea level. We, later proceed for an orientation tour of Lucerne. See the Lion Monument, ‘Lowendenkmal’ hewn from a limestone cliff to commemorate the bravery and loyalty of Swiss Guards. You may take a stroll across the Kappelbrucke- the world’s oldest covered wooden bridge, originally built in 1333 over the Reuss river. You have free time at Schwanenplatz to shop for Swiss army knives, chocolates, watches, souvenirs, etc.

Day 8

Onto Paris
Cruise on the River Seine
Illumination Tour of Paris
After a continental breakfast, we check out and drive to Paris. On arrival, we check into the hotel. In the evening we take you for a romantic cruise on the river Seine. See all the important monuments of Paris on the banks of the river Seine. Later, we proceed on an Illumination tour of Paris. See the famous landmarks of Paris – the city of lights, magically lit up. A perfect end to this beautiful evening!!!

Day 9

Guided City Tour of Paris
Visit Eiffel Tower – Level 2
Visit Disneyland, Paris
After a continental breakfast, we proceed for a guided panoramic city tour. See Place de la Concorde, the majestic Arc de Triomphe, the fashionable Champs Elysees and the magnificent
Opera House. Next, we visit Eiffel Tower, the symbol of Paris, where a bird’s eye view from the 2nd level will leave you breathless! River Seine Cruise, Paris Eiffel Tower, Paris Later we take you on an exciting trip to Disneyland, Paris. Get charmed by Cinderella’s castle. Take an exciting roller coaster ride down the Thunder Mountain. Visit Fantasyland and
meet Alice in Wonderland, Pinocchio, Peter Pan and Snow White. Get thrilled by the legends of Aladdin and Indiana Jones at Adventureland. Ride a space shuttle to the moon at Discoveryland. Encounter Ghost Ships, Steam trains, and Western scenes in the Wild West town of Frontierland. In the evening we take you for dinner and then return to the hotel.

Day 10

Return Home with Wonderful Memories
Today, after a continental breakfast you’re ‘European Splendors’ ends as you check out of the hotel. It’s time to say goodbye to all the new friends you have made.
